terry gess pottery

Terry Gess is a studio potter working in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina.  He finishes his pottery with multiple layers of porcelain laminated to the surface and fires it in an atmospheric salt kiln.  Though the process is somewhat unpredictable, the one-of-a-kind results have a subtle and expressive beauty.

The pottery is food safe, lead-free, dishwasher and microwave safe. Treated with care, it will provide years of pleasure and service.
